Here is the full Universal Studios Orlando attractions list, park by park, the way we would walk a friend through it before their first trip. Universal Orlando Resort is now three theme parks: Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida and Epic Universe, which opened in 2025 a few miles south of the original resort. Together they have more than 40 rides, shows and play areas, and knowing the height requirements and the lands before you go is the difference between a great day and a lot of backtracking.

Every attraction below includes the land it is in, the minimum height and who it suits best. We also share the order locals ride things in, which rides soak you, and which ones to save for a stormy afternoon.

Universal Orlando at a glance

• Islands of Adventure: the thrill park. Home to Hogsmeade, VelociCoaster, the Hulk and the water rides of Toon Lagoon.
• Universal Studios Florida: the movie and TV park. Home to Diagon Alley, Gringotts, Revenge of the Mummy, Minion Land and DreamWorks Land for little kids.
• Epic Universe: the newest park, with five immersive worlds: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, the Isle of Berk, Dark Universe and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic.
• Hogwarts Express: connects Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. You need a park-to-park ticket to ride it.
• Epic Universe tickets: Epic Universe is a separate park with its own entrance and parking, so check that your ticket includes it.

How to read this list

Heights are the minimum to ride, in inches and centimeters. Many attractions let shorter kids ride with an adult, and the posted sign at the ride entrance always has the final word. Team members measure at the entrance, and many rides also have a sizer seat so you can test the fit before you wait.

• No minimum: every age can ride or take part.
• Under 48 in with companion: children under 48 inches (122 cm) must ride with someone 14 or older.
• Rider Switch: at most big rides, one adult waits with a child who is too small while the others ride, then swaps without waiting again.

Islands of Adventure attractions list

Locals just call it IOA. It is laid out as a loop around a big lagoon, so you can walk it clockwise or counterclockwise. Start at the back of the park with Hagrid's or VelociCoaster, and you will be ahead of the crowds for the rest of the morning.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade

• Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (48 in / 122 cm). Best for thrill seekers, tweens, teens and adults. A motorbike coaster through the Forbidden Forest with seven launches, a vertical drop and magical creatures along the way. It usually has the longest line in the park, so ride it first or last.
• Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (48 in / 122 cm). Best for tweens, teens and adults. Walk through Hogwarts Castle, then fly with Harry through the halls, the Quidditch pitch and the Forbidden Forest on a robotic-arm dark ride. The castle queue is half the fun, so do not skip it with single rider unless you have seen it.
• Flight of the Hippogriff (36 in / 92 cm). Best for families and younger kids. A short family coaster that swoops past Hagrid's Hut, with a bow to Buckbeak before takeoff. A great first coaster.

Jurassic Park

• Jurassic World VelociCoaster (51 in / 130 cm). Best for adrenaline lovers, teens and adults. Two high-speed launches, four inversions and a 70 mph race with the raptors. Ask any local coaster fan and this is the best ride in Orlando.
• Jurassic Park River Adventure (42 in / 107 cm, under 48 in with companion). Best for families, teens and adults. A calm boat tour through the park that goes very wrong, ending with an 85-foot plunge away from a T. rex. You will get wet.
• Pteranodon Flyers (36 to 56 in / 91 to 143 cm). Best for young kids with an adult. Suspended seats glide over Camp Jurassic. Adults over 56 in can only ride with a child who meets the requirement, and the line moves slowly, so go early.
• Camp Jurassic (no minimum). Best for young explorers. A multi-level play area with slides, nets, caves, bridges and water cannons. The perfect spot for kids to burn energy while adults ride VelociCoaster.
• Jurassic Park Discovery Center (no minimum). Best for families and curious kids. An air-conditioned exhibit with fossil displays, dino DNA fun and a baby raptor hatchery.

Marvel Super Hero Island

• The Incredible Hulk Coaster (54 in / 138 cm). Best for thrill seekers, teens and adults. Rockets from 0 to 40 mph in two seconds, then seven inversions over the lagoon. It is the tallest height requirement at Universal.
• The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man (40 in / 102 cm, under 48 in with companion). Best for tweens, teens and adults. A 3D motion dark ride swinging through New York to fight villains. A classic that still holds up, and indoors, which makes it a great heat or rain break.
• Doctor Doom's Fearfall (52 in / 132 cm). Best for teens and adults. A launch tower that shoots you straight up with a great view of the resort before the drop.
• Storm Force Accelatron (no minimum, under 48 in with companion). Best for kids and families. A spinning cup ride. Easy, quick and usually a short wait.

Toon Lagoon

• Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges (42 in / 107 cm, under 48 in with companion). Best for families, kids, teens and adults. A river raft ride that does not get you wet, it gets you soaked, from waterfalls and from people on the bridge firing water cannons. Lockers are nearby. Wear quick-dry clothes.
• Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls (44 in / 112 cm, under 48 in with companion). Best for families, tweens, teens and adults. A slapstick log flume with a 75-foot final drop. Wetter than Jurassic Park, drier than the Barges.

Skull Island

• Skull Island: Reign of Kong (36 in / 92 cm, under 48 in with companion). Best for tweens, teens and adults. An expedition truck ride into a jungle full of monsters, ending face to face with Kong. Intense for little ones, but no drops.

The Lost Continent

• Poseidon's Fury (no minimum). Best for tweens, teens and adults. A walk-through show inside an ancient temple with live guides and fire and water effects. It has had long closures in recent years, so check the app before you walk over.

Seuss Landing

• The Cat in the Hat (no minimum, under 48 in with companion). Best for preschoolers and families. A spinning dark ride through the book. Busier than it looks because every family with young kids heads here.
• One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish (no minimum, under 48 in with companion). Best for kids and families. Steer your fish up and down while following the rhyme to avoid the squirting fountains.
• The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride! (36 in / 91 cm). Best for kids and families. A slow trolley that winds above and through Seuss Landing.
• Caro-Seuss-el (no minimum). Best for toddlers and preschoolers. A carousel of Seuss characters whose heads and tails move.

Universal Studios Florida attractions list

The original park is laid out like a movie backlot, with New York, San Francisco and London streets. Start with Gringotts in Diagon Alley or Revenge of the Mummy, then work around the lagoon.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley

• Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts (42 in / 107 cm). Best for tweens, teens and adults. A 3D coaster and dark ride that descends beneath Gringotts Bank, with goblins, dark magic and a fire-breathing dragon finale. Look up at the dragon on the bank roof, it breathes fire every few minutes.
• Hogwarts Express, King's Cross Station (no minimum). Best for all ages. The train to Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure, with a different story in each direction. Requires a park-to-park ticket, and it is worth riding both ways.

Production Central and Minion Land

• Despicable Me Minion Mayhem (40 in / 102 cm). Best for families and kids. A 3D simulator where you train to be a Minion. There are stationary seats for anyone who would rather skip the motion.
• Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast (no minimum). Best for families and competitive kids. An interactive blaster game on a moving walkway, with scores you can track in the Universal app.
• Transformers: The Ride 3D (40 in / 102 cm). Best for tweens, teens and adults. A 3D dark ride through an Autobot and Decepticon battle. Indoors and usually a reasonable wait in the afternoon.

New York

• Revenge of the Mummy (48 in / 122 cm). Best for teens and adults. An indoor launched coaster through an Egyptian tomb with fire, a fake ending and a backward section. A local favorite for a cool-down on a hot day.
• Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon (40 in / 102 cm). Best for tweens, teens and adults. A comedy simulator race through Manhattan landmarks. Use the virtual queue option when it is offered and wait in the lounge.

San Francisco

• Fast and Furious: Supercharged (40 in / 102 cm). Best for teens and adults. A special-effects simulator car chase with Dom's crew. Honest local take: it is the ride most people skip on a short trip.

Springfield

• The Simpsons Ride (40 in / 102 cm). Best for families, tweens and teens. A wild simulator through Krustyland with Sideshow Bob. Rougher than it looks if you get motion sick.
• Kang and Kodos' Twirl 'n' Hurl (no minimum, under 48 in with companion). Best for kids and families. A spinner with commentary from the Simpsons' aliens.

World Expo

• Men in Black: Alien Attack (42 in / 107 cm). Best for tweens, teens and adults. Shoot aliens and compete for points against the car next to you. Everyone argues about the score afterward.

DreamWorks Land

This land replaced the old KidZone in 2024 and is built for preschoolers.

• E.T. Adventure (34 in / 86 cm). Best for preschoolers, kids and families. A gentle bike ride to E.T.'s home planet, one of the last original attractions from opening day in 1990. Tell the team member your name so E.T. can say goodbye at the end.
• Trolls Trollercoaster (36 in / 92 cm). Best for kids and families. The land's junior coaster, formerly Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster, rethemed for Trolls. A perfect first coaster for small riders.

Shows at Universal Studios Florida

• The Bourne Stuntacular (no minimum). A live stunt show mixed with huge screens. Great for a seated break.
• Animal Actors on Location! (no minimum). A live show with trained animals, fun for all ages.

Epic Universe attractions list

Epic Universe opened in May 2025 as Universal's third park. See how the worlds connect in our Epic Universe map and layout guide. It is organized as a central hub, Celestial Park, with portals into four worlds. Most first-time visitors head straight to the Ministry of Magic or Super Nintendo World at opening, so consider going the other way.

Celestial Park

• Stardust Racers (48 in / 122 cm). Best for teens and adults. A dual racing coaster with launches, airtime hills and near-misses between the two trains. The best coaster in the park.
• Constellation Carousel (no minimum, under 48 in with companion). Best for all ages. A carousel where the celestial creatures spin and tilt.
• Astronomica (no minimum). Best for all ages. An interactive splash pad with fountains and light effects. Bring a change of clothes for little ones.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic

• Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry (40 in / 102 cm). Best for tweens, teens and adults. Travel through the Floo Network into the Ministry of Magic for an elevator-style dark ride. The headline attraction of the park, so expect the longest waits.

Super Nintendo World

• Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge (40 in / 102 cm). Best for tweens, teens and adults. An augmented reality race through Bowser's Castle where you throw shells at the other racers.
• Yoshi's Adventure (36 in / 91 cm). Best for kids and families. A slow ride atop Yoshi on a treasure hunt through the Mushroom Kingdom.
• Mine-Cart Madness (36 in / 91 cm). Best for kids and families. A family coaster through Donkey Kong Country where the carts appear to jump broken track.

How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk

Berk is the most family-friendly world in the park, with rides and shows that work for almost every age.

• Hiccup's Wing Gliders (40 in / 102 cm). Best for families and kids. A launched family coaster that swoops over the village.
• Dragon Racer's Rally (48 in / 122 cm). Best for tweens and teens. Flip and roll with joystick controls on a dragon-shaped flyer.
• Fyre Drill (no minimum, under 48 in with companion). Best for kids and families. A boat ride and water battle with the Viking fire brigade. You will get wet.
• The Untrainable Dragon (no minimum). Best for all ages. A live stage show with life-size dragons and huge puppetry.

Dark Universe

• Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment (48 in / 122 cm). Best for teens and adults. An intense robotic-arm dark ride where the Universal Monsters escape. The scariest ride in any Universal park.
• Curse of the Werewolf (40 in / 102 cm). Best for tweens and teens. A spinning family coaster through the woods of Darkmoor.

Local tips for riding more and waiting less

• Hit the big coasters at opening. Head straight to Hagrid's or VelociCoaster at Islands of Adventure, Gringotts at Universal Studios, or Stardust Racers at Epic Universe while everyone else lines up for the Ministry.
• Stay on site for early admission. Universal hotel guests get early park admission to select attractions, and the premier hotels include Universal Express Unlimited. See our guide to where to stay in Orlando.
• Use single rider lines. Many big rides, including VelociCoaster, the Hulk, Gringotts, Forbidden Journey, the Mummy and Men in Black, have single rider lines that can cut the wait dramatically if your group does not mind splitting up.
• Plan for lockers. The major coasters do not allow loose items. VelociCoaster, the Hulk and Hagrid's use metal detectors, and free short-term lockers sit at the entrance of each ride.
• Save indoor rides for the afternoon. Summer storms roll in most afternoons from June to September and shut down outdoor coasters. That is the time for Spider-Man, Forbidden Journey, Men in Black, Transformers and the Mummy.
• Ride the water rides when it is hot, not before dinner. The Bilge-Rat Barges will soak you through. Ride them in the heat of the day and let the Florida sun dry you off.
